1st Composition - Waltz.

This is the first piece that I composed. It has no specific form.  The melody wasinspired by Maurice Ravel’s Bolero where he created long and winding phrasesfor the piece. The arrangement of chords for the harmony part was inspired byChopin’s Minute Waltz.

Reason for composing this piece;

- Waltz is one of my favourite genres. I feel that waltz music are soothing and pleasant that helps the mind to relax.

- Piano was used as I was inspired by Frederic Chopin because he only used piano for his compositions to have a smooth texture in his music.
